In loving memory of Raymond Hutnyak, age 76, of Oberlin, who peacefully departed on Sunday, February 11th, 2024. He is now reunited with his beloved late wife, Debbie (Smith) Hutnyak. Raymond's enduring legacy lives on through his surviving children: Daniel Hutnyak, Joseph Hutnyak, and Cynthia Hutnyak. His impact extends further through the generations, touching the lives of his grandchildren: Ivy Hutnyak, Curtis Meko, Maxwell Hutnyak, Leopold Hutnyak, and Maebh Hutnyak, along with his great-granddaughter, Novie Hutnyak Savage.
Raymond served his country with honor as an Army veteran during the Vietnam War and later dedicated himself to public service, retiring from the City of North Olmsted. Beyond his commitment to duty, he maintained a deep interest in military history and was a collector. His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
Services to celebrate Raymond's life will take place at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 708 Erie Street, Grafton, OH 44044, on Friday, February 16th, at 11:00 am, mass of Christian burial at 12 Noon and burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City ,with a reception to follow.
