Rebecca M. Gardner

Rebecca Marilyn Gardner(Johnston) age 93 of LaGrange passed away in her home on Wednesday November 1, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Rebecca was born July 5, 1930 in Elyria to Dick and Ruth Johnston. She was the last surviving of six sisters and four brothers.  Becky was married to Donald Gardner of North Olmsted. They were blessed with seven children : Donald Jr., David, Douglas, Rebecca, Mark, Mathew and Marilyn. Becky, Don and family moved to LaGrange Township in1964 and founded Indian Hollow Lake Golf Course. Becky was actively involved in the business for over 50 years. She was also a bus driver for Keystone School District for 14 years. Becky was preceded in death by Donald Gardner, David Gardner and by her second husband Walter Lovett. She is survived by 6 children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  No services will be held per Beck's wishes. Donations in her honor can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, LaGrange Global Methodist Church or First Baptist Church of LaGrange.
