Rebecca " Faye" Starcher

Rebecca Faye Parsons Mayes Starcher, 84, of Rocky River, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Thursday December 24, 2020 at Western Reserve Hospice at Westlake, Ohio after a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late Joe and Emma Wright Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Parsons and Calvin Mayes; daughter, Dwanna Saxer; sisters, Georgia Roush, Clara Williams and Betty Starcher; brothers, John Burton Taylor, L. H. Taylor, Bill Taylor, Hugh Taylor and Ruben Taylor.
Faye was a member of Lakeview Freewill Baptist Church in Grafton, Ohio. She loved to travel and socialize with friends and family.
She is survived by: husband, Loren Starcher; daughter, Cathy Dougan; step children, Charlotte Hoefort, Shelly Spring, Sharon Mars, Pat Grigs, Randy Starcher and Lisa Eden; brother, Joe Taylor; 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 10 am to 11:30 am Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Matics Funeral Home Inc. in Clendenin. The funeral will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11:30 am with Pastor Clifford Samples officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery Clendenin, WV. Local arrangements were handled by Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
