Richard D. Clay

Richard D. Clay, 66, of Grafton passed away October 27, 2022 after a long illness. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Kermit & Helen Clay. Richard leaves behind with much love and pride his son Robert Douglas Clay of Elyria, beloved sister and brother in law Mona & Greg Hayes, their two daughters nieces, Melissa Hayes and Kristine Ray , all of Jacksonville, Florida, a much loved uncle Gene Tolliver, cousin Keith Tolliver, cherished friend and ex wife Debra Roach of Elyria, his dearest friend Robert Waltz of Elyria and a host of car enthusiasts and friends from all over several states. Richard loved his family deeply and enjoyed the people who shard his common love of muscle cars. He was a big Elvis fan and Richard was a master of hysterical one liners, always delivered with perfect timing. His love of Christ was always with him. He will be missed by many who love him. Friends and family may call in the Duke Funeral Home  1021 Main St. Grafton on Saturday November 12, 2022 from 1 to 4 PM.
