Richard Edward Fayak Sr 88 of Grafton, OH passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. He was born in Starford, PA to Andy and Anna (nee Liptak) Fayak. He was a true family traditionist, loving all holidays surrounded by his family, and Loving late wife Martha of 51 years. He was a true outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, gardening, or just walking on the beach.
Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as an Atomic Infantry Rear Driver in the 613th Artillery Battalion. He went on to retire in 1996 after 35 years as a Master Craftsman from Q-Panel in Westlake.
Richard is Survived by his Sons, Richard Jr. of Grafton, Dan (Sue) of Sullivan, Arnold (Lavern) Guyton of Chagrin Falls, his Daughters Cristie Bolton of Lagrange, Wanda (Ralph) Zeitz of Lagrange, 17 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Brother Francis (Pat) of Woodbridge, VA, and Sisters Delores Dobish of Willoughby, Annabelle (Ron) Sheredy of Wickliffe.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Wife Martha A. Fayak (nee Lewis), Son Steven Fayak, One Grandson Richard Fayak III, Two Great Grandsons Joey Parsons Jr. and Shane Maslanka, Brothers Andy of OH, Kenneth of MD, Bernard of CA, Edward Lesky of CA, John Lesky of NJ, Joseph Lesky of NM, Michael Fayak of Czechoslovakia, Sisters Loretta Slanina of Youngstown, Anna Fayak of Czechoslovakia.
Friends and Family will be received on Friday, September 9th, 2022 from 6-8PM at Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St., Grafton, OH 44044
Service will be held Saturday, September 10th at 10AM at Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St., Grafton, OH 44044
