Richard Macaulay

Richard Macaulay, age 67 of Vermilion and formerly of the Grafton Township and Belden area passed away unexpectedly in the University Hospitals Main Campus. Richard was a loving father to Crystal ( Michael ) Thacker, grandfather to Cheyenne , Owen and Liam Richard Thacker . He was also  a loving brother, uncle and friend . Richard was very proud to being an iron worker Local #17. His greatest joy was being a father and grandfather. He loved fishing, bird watching, puzzles, watching the rising and setting of the sun, holding his daughter Crystal's  hand and arguing. He also enjoyed making everyone in the room laugh, Whitney Houston , who was important to him, and the outdoors. Richard was a simple man who loved the simple things in life. Funeral services were held in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton with the burial in Belden Cemetery, Grafton Township following after services.
