Richard "Rich" C. Bittle

Richard " Rich " Bittle, age 79 of Elyria passed away after a short illness in Avon Oaks Nursing Home on Tuesday October 30, 2018. He was born January 10, 1939 in Chester,  Pennslyvania  and had moved to Elyria in his younger years. Rich retired from Ford Motor Company ( Lorain Plant ) after 47 years of service. He was a 1958 graduate of Elyria High School. and enjoyed going to car shows. Rich was a regular on Sundays at Quaker Steak & Lube for the car show there. He is survived by his wife Judy ( nee Haswell ) Bittle  of 54 years, whom he married on June 6, 1964, his daughters Suzette ( Jerry ) True and Amy ( Darrick ) Duke . Survivors also include his grandchildren Samantha True and Paul Duke and by his grand dog Chance. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence & Louise Bittle. Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Sunday November  4, 2018 from 3-6 PM where funeral service will be held on Monday November 5, 2018 at 11 AM.
