Rickey L Coker 66 years old. Born July 29th, 1954 died March 25th,2021.
Graduated Elyria High School in 1973. Worked for Kroger Bakery, US Lighting Service, Schneider Trucking and several other trucking companies over the years. Retired from the road in 2018.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting, and loved to watch his grandkids play sports. He helped out with the Boy Scout Troop 118 when his boys were in the Scouts. He helped with many of the activities at Issac Walton's Gun Club.
He survived by his children Corey of Colorado, Ben (Tausha) of LaGrange, Jessica (Jason) Avalos of Lorain, and Chad (Wendy) of Grafton. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 1great granddaughter. His sister and brother in-law Renee and Pete Cowhick. His life long friend and ex-wife Elaine (Resar) Coker. Many nieces, nephews , and his dog Kringle.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Glenda, parents Garvis and Virginia, brothers Randy and Rodney.
Family and friends may call on Thursday April 8, 2021 in Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday April 9th at 11am . All Covid-19 guidelines will be observed including face masks.Burial in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Animal Shelters or APL.
