Robert C. Hill

Robert Hill, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on September 17, 2021, surrounded by his family after a short illness with ALS.

Robert was born on November 9, 1944 in Elyria Ohio to the late Elton and Twila (Wilkinson) Hill.

Robert retied from Avery Label. During his retirement, Robert enjoyed being a part of the LaGrange Engine Club, finding and working on old tractors, farming and playing music with his friends. He was a loving husband, father and Epa.

Robert is survived by his high school sweetheart Barbara whom he was married to for 57 wonderful years. He is also survived by his two brothers, Richard (Irene) Hill of Medina and his twin brother Roger (Dana) Hill of LaGrange; three children, Jane (Dan) Urig of North Ridgeville; Scot Hill of Grafton; Christy (Tim) of Rittman; six grandchildren and their spouses, Kyle (Arielle) Urig, Brandon (Rachel) Urig, Angela Urig, Jessica Urig, Jordan Hill and Julia Hill; and seven great-grandchildren Jason, Addilynn, Dean, Kora, Mylah, Jayden and Charlotte; and his many nieces and nephews.

Being with family was his greatest pleasure, he will be missed every day. He was known for always helping others, his great laugh and having a funny joke to tell. He was a member of Spencer Baptist Church for 40 years.

All are welcome at a graveside service to be held at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township on Tuesday September 21, 2021at 1 PM .Arrangements are being handled by Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton with Pastor Travis Mullet officiating.
