Ronald E. Wells, Sr.

January 9, 1952-January 27, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our father. He passed away peacefully, at the age of 73, at UH Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland surrounded by family and loved ones.

Ronald was born on January 9, 1952, in Elyria, Ohio to Charles and Lucille Wells. He spent his early years in Grafton, Ohio where he developed a passion for hunting and fishing with his siblings. After graduating from Midview High School, he enlisted in the Army on February 19th, 1971, until March 25, 1974, as an Equipment Storage Specialist. Ronald was known for his hard-working temperament, and his loving personality that touched many lives through His work at Ford Motor Company U.A.W. Local 1250. Ronald was a loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, brother and a devoted friend to many.

Survived by his sons, Ronnie (Tracie) and Jeremy (Wendy). Grandchildren, Caitlin Slaby Trenton Wells, Xander Wells, Colton Wells, and Hayden Wells. Brothers Rudy, James, Floyd, Larry, Gary and Sister Barb. He is also survived by his loving partner Jan Hvizd.

He was cherished by all. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for friends and family.

Poppy, you have made us who we are today. Your legacy lives in our hearts, guiding us with every step. Please watch over our families from above and walk with us daily. We promise to carry your powerful work ethic forever. Rest peacefully until we meet again.
