Rosie Crayton (nee Bilow), 102, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 in her home. She was born October 1, 1916 in Evart, Michigan and lived most of her life in Lorain County.
She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Grafton for over 50 years. During her life, she enjoyed reading, cards, flower gardening, playing the organ, sewing, knitting, bowling, cooking, camping, roller skating and her birds.
She is survived by daughters Carol Bizorik of Brighton and Shirley (Jack) Clifford of LaGrange; son Ron (Theresa) of Grafton, daughter-in-law Carole Ann of Lorain; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Robert; son, Roger; 2 great grandsons, Kyle and Jay; her parents William and Nora (Elliott) Bilow; sisters Ivena Carlin, Irene Gill, Alma Wacker; and brother Burt.
The Crayton family would like to express their gratitude to her caregivers Bonnie, Lora, Norma, Pam, Michelle, and Nicole and special friend Kathy.
Friends may call Friday, July 19, 2019 from 6 to 9 PM at Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 708 Erie St., Grafton. Burial will be at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange.
