Ruth E. Franklin

Ruth E. Franklin (nee Wise ), age 94 of Wakeman passed away Sunday August 25, 2024 in the Avon Cleveland Clinic following a short illness. Ruth was born March 7, 1930 in Centerton, Ohio and had lived in Wakeman since age 16.  She was a home maker and a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wakeman. Ruth is survived by daughters Charlotte ( Doug ) Fedak of Wakeman. Jean ( Phil ) Franklin of Chagrin Falls and Tanya ( Brent ) Franklin of Amanda, Oho. Survivors also include 6 grandchildren and  4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie E. Franklin, by her son Alan T. Franklin and by her parents Clarence & Loretta (nee Wirth ) Wise. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday September 3, 2024 in St. Mary's Catholic Church 46 East Main St. Wakeman at 10 AM with Father Brickner  officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to The Caring Community at St. Mary's Church.
