Ruth I. Hamilton

Ruth Irene Hamilton , age 98 of Polk Ohio passed away in her home on Friday April 9, 2021. She was born September 2, 1922 in St.Paul, Wise County, Virginia to the late Elbert S. and Helen Carty. Ruth enjoyed her family, Gardening, quilting  and going to church. Sister Ruth was a faithful member of the Pleasant View Old Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons Charles Hamilton Jr of Polk, Robert Heilman of Brookpark and daughter Linda Gonzales of Akron.. Survivors also include numerous grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and by her brother Cecil C. Carty of New London. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hamilton Sr in 2010 . Her and Charlie were married in May of 1948, 2 brothers and by her sister. Friends may call in the Pleasant View Old Regular Baptist Church 3589 Beat Rd. Litchfield on Monday April 12, 2021 from 4 PM until services at 6 Pm. Visitation will continue throughout the night until funeral services at 11 AM on Tuesday April 13, 2021 with Elders of the church officiating.. Burial will be in Polk Cemetery, Polk, Ohio.
