Scott Stonestreet Obituary

Scott Stonestreet passed away March 21, 2024 at Elyria University Hospital after a heart attack. He was born July 29th, 1970 in Elyria and lived in the Elyria/Grafton area all his life.

He graduated in 1988 from Elyria High School and the Culinary program Lorain County Joint Vocational School. Scott was an accomplished chef, cooking for numerous gatherings, parties and catering with a very close friend Gary Lenio. He had a long career in food service and recently worked at Kendal At Oberlin for 13 years. He also worked 15 years for Kendall of Oberlin.His newest employment HHS as Executive Chef Manager.

Scott was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, and fishing. He always enjoyed his time four wheel riding especially at the Hatfield Mccoy trails. Scott was a member at the Waverly Hunt Club since 1996 and was president the last few years. Scott will be remembered as the one who helped anyone in need.

He is survived by his love, Shana Doll of Elyria and his daughters, Molly Stonestreet of Elyria, and Emily Stonestreet of Elyria, and his uncle Timothy Powell (Darlene), two aunts Susan Ice (Dale) and Sharon Wells (Gary).

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Jackson Powell; grandmother, Mildred Powell; father, Hubert C. (Butch) Stonestreet; mother, Jacqueline Ann Weber and brother, Robert J. Stonestreet, brother, Duane Stonestreet.

A celebration of life will be held at the Waverly Hunt Club, 6003 Townline Road 162, Wakeman, OH 44889 on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 from 12 to 4 p.m.
