Sharon L. Wilson

Sharon Lavonne Wilson, 74, of LaGrange, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ Monday, April 19, 2021 after a brief diagnosis of acute leukemia. She was born at home on Steer Run Gilmer County West Virginia to Arlou (Whitesel) and Danes Moore. Sharon was married 57 years to Philip Wilson and is  survived by her son William (Stephanie), former daughter- in- law Karen Bonk (Greg) and  grandchildren: VaNessa, DeKota, Luke, Leah, SaVanna and one great grandson Logan, and by her mother Arlou Reaser. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip in 2020, two sons Philip Jr. and Lenny J. and her father Danes.  She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of LaGrange and enjoyed serving at Fitchville Baptist church plant where her son pastors. Sharon was employed by the Keystone School system. She spent many hours baking for family and friends, and you could often find her on the porch swing taking a break from her love of gardening.  A funeral service will be officiated by her son, Pastor Wilson on Friday, April 23rd  at 11AM in the First Baptist Church of LaGrange 200 Church St, LaGrange. Arrangements are being handled by Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St.  Grafton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fitchville Baptist Church Plant PO Box 434 LaGrange, Ohio.
