Sophie A. Cox

Sophie Cox, age 98 passed away Saturday February 26, 2022 at Plum Creek Assisted Living in Brunswick Hills, Ohio where she was a permanent resident. Born in Millville, New Jersey, Sophie was the youngest of seven children born to Joseph & Agnes Kupsky whom had preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her husband Sherman and daughter Sharon Siron ( Ralph ). She is survived by her son Raymond Cox ( Lynne ) of Litchfield, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sophie loved to do crafts, sewing, metal detecting and playing Bingo with the residents of Plum Creek . She loved life and loved God. She was a member of the Belden United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was also the first mate on her husband's charter fishing boat for 10 years. Graveside services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Belden United Methodist Church. A special thanks goes out to Plum Creek and Traditions Health  Hospice Care for their extreme compassion, professionalism and exceptional care. Arrangements were handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton.
