Susan Downey

Susan I Downey, age 79 passed away on June 13, 2022 in Lagrange, Ohio.

Susan was born in Morgantown WV to James and Beryl Titchenell on February 26, 1943. She is preceded in death by Gerald F Downey, her husband of 55 years. Susan worked as a seamstress at Richmond Brothers following high school then pursued a career at American Greetings for the remainder of her working years. She loved sewing quilts for her family, cross-stitching, gardening and family gatherings.

Susan is survived by her brother Frank Titchenell. Loving mother of Barbara Brooks (Mike), Debbie Adkins (Joe), Charles Downey (Iveta), Jennifer Barrett (Chuck); grandmother of Michael, Tiffany, Richie, Amanda, Alex, Joey, Emily, James, Erika, Lindsey, Josh, Clay, Sarah and Lauren; great-grandmother to Lucas, Madison, Freiya, Grayson, Addison, Colton, Aiden, Pryce, Parker, Elaina, Aiden, Evelyn, Isaac and the late Gabriella .Private services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 1:30pm sharp. Arrangements are by Duke Funeral Home in Grafton Ohio.
