Susan Lynn Flickinger

Susan L. Flickinger, age 63 , life long resident of Belden, passed peacefully away Tuesday September 14, 2021 i following a lengthy illness. She spent her whole working life helping others as the owner of a cleaning business, mostly at Charles Place and Bay Landing condominium complexes in Westlake, relating to the many residents who lived there. Sue was a lifelong member of the Belden United Methodist Church. She never married and had any children, however, she was very involved in the lives and activities of her parents, brothers Bob and Bill, sisters Laurie McCartney and Judy, and 3 nieces and was like a second mother to her handicapped nephew Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents Bob & Betty Flickinger of Belden. The family will receive friends in the Belden United Methodist Church 36130 State Route 303 Grafton, Ohio on Monday September 20, 2021 from 5 PM until a memorial  service at 6 PM, followed by light refreshments. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in c/o Laurie McCartney 36480 Chestnut Ridge RD. North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039 for the ongoing care of Sue's beloved nephew Logan. Arrangements are being handled by the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton. .
