Thomas Arno, age 75 of LaGrange passed away Sunday October 30 in his home following a long illness. Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, he grew up among his large family. Tom often talked about his childhood, helping in his parent's buhcher shop, thus he had his desire of being a meat cutter. Later days , Tom moved to Nevada to practice his trade. After his retirement, Tom moved to Ohio where he went into the flower business, owning his own shop House of Flowers. After leaving the floral business, he returned to cutting meat at Fligners and at LaGrange IGA. Tom's hobbies included collecting Batman memorabilia, sampling some of the finer spirits of Jack Daniels and entertaining friends. Tom took pride in his Cockapoos : Gizmo, Buddy, Bella, Fluffy and Paws. He is survived by his wife Debra ( nee Willingham ), step daughter Patricia ( Charles ) Flanagan of Everett, Washington, Step sons Chris Zeiter of Portland, Oregon and David Zeiter of Westlake, Ohio. Survivors also include 4 grandchildren, brother Anthony Arno and god-son\ nephew David Arno. He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony & Theresa ( nee Faircloud ) Arno, brother Joseph Arno, sister Catherine Devine, step son Willie Zeiter and nephew Joseph ( Scotty ) Arno. Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Wednesday November 9, 2022 from 1 PM until services at 3 PM with Father John Seabold of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Officiating.
