Valerie Denise Lakatosh

Valerie D. Lakatosh, age 66 of Elyria passed away Wednesday October 5, 2022 in EMH Regional Medical Center following a long illness .Valerie was born July 17, 1956 in Elyria. Valerie is survived by her husband  of 21 years Joe Lakatosh, children Scott ( Marie ) Collins, Travis ( Sara ) Henry, Rianna ( Alex ) Plas, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Survivors also include her sister Marcie Collins, many nieces and nephews and by many other family members.   She was preceded in death by her mother Gloria Hammond, brother Christopher Collins and by her granddaughter Autumn Henry. Valerie was a life long Elyria resident and had attended Midview High School. She also worked  at Stand-By- Screw for 20 plus years. she was a kind hearted and loving person who would do anything for her family and friends. She loved going to the casinos, , spending time with her friends at Jamie's Flea Market and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Friends and family may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Thursday October 13, 2022 from 5 PM until services at 7 PM with Pastor Roger Rice of the Fuller Community Church, officiating.
