Obituary
Virgil White, age 97 of Grafton passed away Wednesday December 14, 2022 in the Keystone Pointe Nursing & Rehab Center following a long illness. He was born January 23, 1925 in Dessie, West Virginia and was a long time Grafton resident.. Virgil had a passion for riding horses and growing turnips just to give them away. He also enjoyed bluegrass shows and being at the produce auction in Homerville with his friends.
He is survived by his children ,Randy White of Grafton and Rosa White of Frametown. Survivors also include his grandchildren
Brandy (David) of Grafton
Brenda ( Matthew) of Grafton
Brittany ( Rodney) of Grafton
And by his great grandchildren
Autumn,Jennings, Aaliyah, Annabelle, Alexis
He was preceded in death by his wife Greta Pearle White ( deceased in 2009 ) whom he married January 29, 1959 in Gassaway, West Virginia and by his parents Thomas & Loma Vae ( nee Frame ) White. Friends may call in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Sunday December 18, 2022 from 7 to 9 PM. Burial will be in Frametown, West Virginia during his annual trail ride on Thursday September 14, 2023.
