Wanda H. Sabo

Wanda Humelsine Sabo of Lorain Ohio was called Home on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Ames Hospice of the Western Reserve in Westlake, Ohio after dealing with many different health issues.

She was born on November 9, 1951 in Elyria Ohio and lived in the Grafton/Lorain area most of her life.  Wanda is a graduate of Midview High School and worked as a bookkeeper/clerk for many different companies.  After marrying Norman Sabo and having their daughter, she became an at-home mom and housewife.  In her free time she enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, and doing many different crafts.

Wanda is survived by her loving daughter Deenna (Tom) Kelly of Amherst, Ohio; wonderful brother David Humelsine (Molly Wise) of Akron, Ohio; and many other dear family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, John W. Humelsine and Martha (nee Grieve) Humelsine; beloved brother D. Dean Humelsine; and Norman Sabo (10/26/23)

Family and friends can gather for a time of remembrance on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:30 at Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St., Grafton, Ohio, 44044.  Services will begin at 11:30 at the funeral home and the burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery.  A luncheon will be held afterwards at LaPorte United Methodist Church.
