William R. Prosser

William R. Prosser, age 88 passed away Wednesday May 3, 2023 following a brief illness. He was born September 1, 1934 in Carrolltown,  Pennslyvania to Aaron & Marie ( Weakland ) Prosser. Bill was a veteran of the US Army and had graduated from Carrolltown High School , class of 1952 where he played Football and ran track. He was employed by Phillips Brush Company in Cleveland for nearly 40 years. Bill enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle and snow mobile. He was a life member of the Beavercreek Sportsman Club.  He is survived by his two sisters Mary Storm of Willoughby Hills and Grace James Landis ( Bob ) of Orrville. Survivors also include his nieces Carol ( Jeff ) Kirk, Cindy ( Keyvan ) Ravakkah, nephews Daniel ( Diane ) Storm, David ( Tammy ) Storm, Ronald ( Becky ) James, Robert ( Beth ) James and Richard James and by his special adopted brother James Anton of Oberlin, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Prosser and by his brother in law  James Storm. Visitation will be on Monday May 8, 2023 from 11 AM until services at 1 PM in the Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton. Burial will be in LaPorte Cemetery, Carlisle Township with VFW Post # 1079 providing military honors.
