William " Bill " J. Burnett

William “Bill” John Burnett, 58, passed away on October 3, 2025. Born on July 5, 1967, Bill was a beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who touched many lives with his warmth, humor, and kindness. He is survived by his loving daughter, Jessica; his mom*, April Burnett; and his sisters, Tina Leonard and Char Burnett. He is also survived by his brother, John Burnett, and was a cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Bill’s special bond with his daughter Jessica, whom he lovingly called “Ladybug,” will live on — Jessica will remember him forever. Bill was preceded in death by his father, John Burnett; his mother, Kathleen Sell; his bonus father, Robert Sell; and his sister, Wendy Phillips. He was a dedicated employee of BASF and a proud member of ICW Union Local 73C, where he formed lifelong friendships and took pride in his work. Graveside services will be held at Fields Cemetery in North Ridgeville, Ohio, where family and friends will gather to honor his life and memory. Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him
